Palin fits perfectly into our political system. She’s an ambitious ideologue with tunnel vision who’s willing to be a tool for the party she sides with. But she has a fatal flaw: she attracts too much attention. A lot of attention inevitably brings about some bad press, and no Pres. candidate should be discussed this much in the off season. She needs to go into media black out for the next two years, or she’s through.

It’s funny that stories in the “National Inquirer” should be given any credence whatsoever. But media is distorted and dangerous today. Fox News is essentially the very same animal as the “National Inquirer”… yellow journalism at its finest.

I truly don’t care what Sarah Palin does (even if it’s a matter, as you suggest, of laughing all the way to the bank). Though I’d just as soon she wasn’t involved in government. Like George Bush, she carries a 22 caliber mind into a 45 caliber world. If there ever was a time when we needed smart people in government… it is now.
