Some of the wealthiest corporations in the world have declared war on their own customers, have manipulated and lied to Congress and have helped stifle innovation in the name of preserving copyrights. 

Nobody seems to remember those copyrights were supposed to be temporary and short-lived. Their original purpose was to encourage people to create things that would SOON AFTER become public domain. 

Now we&#039;ve just had Amazon stealing from its customers because someone made mistake concerning the copyrights on books that were written in the &#039;40s by a man who died in the &#039;50s! What the hell?]]></description>
