I posted my comment while doing other things, so I missed the reply comments Cube that you posted before I entered mine.

We're talikng past each other here, you seem to think I'm not listening, and I'm reasonably sure you're skimming my points without considering them at all. I never used the word conspiracy, I don't believe in them as ageneral rule, humans are not that complex, or that organized.

You can feel that way about Palin if you like, and I'm telling you, I'm not obligated to share it. Pagelia says she is not stupid, and that Couric is one of the dumbest people she's ever met, she also considers herself a classic liberal. In my experience liberals always use moron as a default statement of condescension when dealing with a Reaganite, like it's hardwired into their inner moonchild,.. Lets try this then.

You never once addressed my point about special circumstance, or why if you're right we are the United STATE of America. Dismiss it if you like, but at least acknowledge the point was made.

So, no governor has any right to discuss forgeign policy ever.

So the governor of Texas should just shut the Hell up when the Mexican gang wars spill onto US soil, not comment cause it's the great and powerful's job alone?

I somehow think Cube, that if it were Bush in, and a governor with a big fat honking D on his name, spoke their view, you'd find the argument supporting their right to speak more appealing.

She's not going away, and neither are we conservatives, no matter how insulting you choose to be. Truthfully, I have no idea who our nominee will be in 2012, I'm only sure, you'd find some excuse to find them moronic, it's what your party does, thirty years I've followed politics, and that is a constant. No matter the education, the service, the experience, your side finds valet parking attendants to be brilliant if they run against any republican. So please, find another line of attack, that ones beyond lame.

Is this where I jump in and make the subject Joe the Biden's frail grasp of reality the subject, or his gaff of the day a way to beat your side up for his latest brainfart? You really find Joe of the mindlock a better mind than Palin,.... I predict in all sincerity, that he'll be asked to resign by the president before his term is up. I also predict many a lefty will be glad he's gone so you can brag about your collective brain power without Joe bending the curve into the gutter.

I don't normally do that kind of thing, but why not Cube? If the heft of your argument is she's wrong, and OH, BY THE WAY,... I think she's...

stick to the issue or don't bother,. I don't need to read your view on that a half dozen times or more, I got it the first time,.. care if I start naming the democrats I find to be stupid corrupt or insane?

take a seat, this may take a while.

The word tard,..

I'm not the word police, and wouldn't suggest anyone not say what they mean. Just please keep in mind,. some of us are a bit,. well. full disclosure, I have two mentally retarded brothers, one of them passed away two years ago, I bent many a bully's face inside out in grade school, jr. high... retarded doesn't mean stupid, it means they are slower to develop, slower to understand, but they do and can get an idea if it's explained with care.

Imagine too my outrage to discover after the election, that activists had come to his group home and filled out an absentee ballot with him, to vote for Obama.

His IQ was so low in school they wouldn't put a number on it, he's like a three year old. I'm pursuing it with my youngest brother, but the Home is playing dumb, and it's hard to get anyone to talk about it. But I'd be just as damn mad if he'd been prodded to vote GOP, it's the same as giving the helper a second vote. Joe would say or do anything to please a grownup as he sees them. He'd vote for Johny Bravo if you told him to.

So retard is a loaded word for me,

There's no shame in Joe being who he is, but I'd be horribly shamed to be a vote collecter working the disabled group homes, those guys are whores. The news mentioned allegations of this, but I never gave it any thought till Joe volunteered he'd voted at the family gathering on Thanksgiving. He mentioned it, not us, which is why I find it credible.

Cube, I respect you, but please, if you would, save it for the worst offenders. Sparingly,. either way,. I'll never complain again about it's use, I won't play that game, not policing what people say. I just felt, I had to mention there are other prospectives on it.

Cube, you are a lawyer?

I'm impressed, it's easy to just expect other people on the web to be kind of like yourself, absent any other information about them. I'm only glad I didn't embarrass myself to much, I only have a high school education. I just remember vividly having this same debate in class with my history teacher. Must have been oh, in 73 or so. I'll let it go with this.

I don't believe it's use was unintentional. I think like some other governors she's making a simple point to the president. That she is a governor of a proud state, and that any attempt to railroad conformity on them, ala stimulus, would be ill advised. They do have the means to (peacefully) resist, and will use them. A very American way of thinking. The Supreme Court hasn't been altered yet, and Obama must know it would be a roll of the dice to fight it out there. So Palin is essentially saying, deal with us, talk it out, or be ready to fight it out.

not so dumb a way to get your voice heard.

And also, don't put words in my mouth. I'm not eager to prove any conspiracy. You might want to click on the links I provided before you pop off on matters of law you are clueless about man. In fact, in the links I provided earlier, you will see I'm not the only one who noticed it. I would guarantee you Palin has not the foggiest as to interpretation of the 9th, 10th, 11th Amendments or the Supremacy Clause.

States haven't have sovereignty since the Articles of Confederation. We are a Republic. She shouldn't wantonly express her displeasure with foreign policy. She does this becasue she is utterly stupid and hasn't a clue about law. She can't even explain Roe let alone the intricacies of Federalism. You're telling me Palin knows about rights reserved to the states? Puhleeeeeeez. If she did, she would know she has absolutely no rights when it comes to foreign policy. Othewise, we would have fifty different foreign policy strategies.

I would encourage you to try to find one instance other than this of the word choice. How do you reconcile the fact that no governor engages in matters of foreign policy because that's not their job. Why? Alaska is not a sovereign state. It is a city state answering to the Fed unless we're talking about a states "police powers" and matters not reserved by the Fed. Ummm. Federalism has been around for some time. Remember prohibition? Or, Slavery? Or the end of Slavery? Or Brown v. Board? Was Alabama a sovereign state then? Read up on George Wallace. Why? Federalism. Foreign Policy is not within the purview of any governor. She should shut up and talk privately about this with Obama if she is so inclined.

Re: Sovereign State comment.

I have to go to court this morning. It struck me b/c you never hear a state called that. At least, I haven't. The 9th and 10th (11th is for sovereign immunity cases -- go find Seminole Tribe of Florida SCOTUS case and the the test I believe called In re Davis (it's In re some shit) has a concept of state freedom trumped by the Fed in tons of examples.

The Big One being The President is explicitly mentioned in The Const (and by extension, the fed) as being in charge of foreign affairs. It's an odd choice of words given the context she is using. That's only my point. It's very odd.

If someone can find any State Governor ever referring to a state that way post Articles of Confederation, lemmee know. I don't think she's out to do anything. But, she's out of bounds here and sounds like a tard. Especially given the lack of defense system for missles happening under her roof.

Maybe I'll write about it later tonight. On my stupid blog. Click my name maybe.
